• Designed and implemented an end-to-end Control Plane / Cloud Automationfor Resource Management (CARM) service in AWS which provides incidentdriven and on-demand failover mechanism capabilities for cloud-based applications to be managed across Availability Zones/ Regions within the strategic cloud providers.
• Helped multiple BUs to get onboarded to this CARM service i.e., setting up IAM, cross account access, central management account with logging and monitoring.
• Architected and implemented end-to-end Golden AMI framework and pipelines to manage entire life cycle of Golden AMIs which is a custom AMI configured as per latest company standards on top of upstream AMI.
• Integrated Vulnerabilities assessment tool and integration test framework for compliance as code in Golden AMI Tech stack.
• Implemented mutex acquire-release lock with LIFO for parallel running processes (Code build jobs) to access a shared resource sequentially using acombination of Step Fn, Lambdas, SSM etc.
• Strategized and Implemented policies and automation to handle end-to-endlife cycle of Golden AMIs which brought down cost and resulted in huge annual savings.
